As the largest fan Vornado offers, I expected it to be bigger. It is supposed circulate air and cool the room, but in practice, I only use it as a direct fan. I feel the air circulation claim is overstated. I tried to use it to replace another fan which rotates, but the issue then is that it the air is directional, and those outside of the zone do not feel the air at all. In my opinion, it is a good fan for direct use, easy to maintain, but limited if it is intended for wide cooling.

I have a Vornado 5303DC, bought last year. I love the style, love the quality of how it cools down the small room without running the aircon at night, the only downside is the noise level.
I tried the latest Dyson Fan TP07 in Oct 2021. It is a good air purifier, but when I put 5303DC next to the TP07, I could feel the cool wind from 5303DC smoothly brushing on my skin, yet Dyson did absolutely nothing and the air was not circulated at all. So without hesitation, I returned it immediately.
Due to covid, my husband was isolated in a hotel in Oct, he was freezingly cold for the first 4 days, then he developed a low-grade fever due to the stuffiness of the room after he turned off the aircon for a day. When he told me this, it was already 5 pm. I quickly went online purchased the 723DC after consulting Mr. Oliver Seah. Surprisingly, he even delivered my fan to my husband at 6 pm!!! It is a world-class service. My husband said the fan literarily saved his life, he was suffocating in the hotel room that no window can be opened. His fever went away the next morning! The quality of the fan is excellent too. It CAN BE VERY QUIET even though it is much bigger than my 5303! I love the Vornado! I can not say "thank you" enough to Mr. Seah. I am Highly Recommended!!!

Delivery was quick within 1 day from order. Responsive customer service. I was surprised at the quietness of the fan when in motion. The circulated air generated with the feeling of windy environment.

Helped to circulate the air and it made the room felt breezy. Rarely set it to max but if needed the sound can be quite noisy.

This is my 4th Tornado fan. Only issue is the control knob broke on my small unit. Otherwise they are the best.

The downside, the fans can be a tad noisy and I wish all the models came with remote controls, BUT, with that said, these fans rock!! I love the powerful wind (hence the noise, so its a given) and I actually bought 3. One for the kitchen, one for the study and one for the living room!!
